2. Reserve and Plan

When we agree on a time, you will be emailed an invoice to pay your session fee in full. Once the invoice is paid, you session time is reserved. If necessary, we'll schedule a short phone call to discuss details and answer any question you may have.



The session fee covers pre and post session consultation time, my creative and editing efforts spent during and after your session, online ordering gallery, and one retouched digital file.

3. Session and Deliverables

The time spent shooting averages about 20 minutes. If you wear glasses or have more than one outfit/look, it may take a bit longer. Upon completion of your session, your online gallery will be made available to choose the image(s) to be retouched. You will be notified when the final edits are complete and ready for download.

What to Wear for Headshot Business Photography



Business headshots typically show a person’s head and shoulders with the purpose of displaying their ability to do a job. Your styling choices, posing, and expression should reflect the message you are conveying to the viewer whether confident and capable; or friendly and approachable.


Solids and neutral colors photograph best with no or minimal jewelry.  Bold patterns or flashy accessories can distract from your face. 


Depending on your career, you may want to choose brighter colors and accessories, if they properly represent the message you want to send with your headshot.  Be aware that bright colors such as hot pink may cast a colored reflection onto your face.


If you don't wear lipstick, consider wearing Chapstick so your lips don't appear dry.

FAQ

Where are you located?

I have a studio on the second floor of my home in Collierville, TN.

How long does a session last?

For one adult allow about 25 minutes. If you have multiple looks or wear glasses, it may extend that time frame.

When do you schedule sessions?

Sessions are available on Mon-Fri. A few select Saturdays may be opened throughout the year for a premium fee.

When will photos be ready?

If you need your images asap, let me know and I can give more accurate time estimates at the time of your session or add a rush turnaround to your images.

Average times:
You will receive an email invite to your online gallery in 5 business days. Once you make your selections for retouching, the final images should be available in 1 week.

What is your cancellation policy?

Session fees are nonrefundable but may be transferred to another day if the rescheduled date is within 30 days of the canceled date if notification is given prior to your session. If you need to reschedule, please notify me asap. No-shows will be charged a $200 fee.
